In 2004, Mr. Lehrer earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from Indiana University Bloomington. He subsequently pursued his legal education at St. John’s University School of Law, attaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2007. During his time in law school, Mr. Lehrer completed several clerkships, including positions with the New York State Attorney General’s Office and a Nassau County Supreme Court judge.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Lehrer held roles as an associate general counsel and managing director at a real estate brokerage firm. In this capacity, he amassed invaluable experience in business, commercial, and real estate transactions, along with a deep understanding of insurance law. His legal practice encompasses the representation of both sellers and buyers in high-end mixed-use, commercial, and residential real estate transactions. He possesses extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases. Additionally, Mr. Lehrer serves property owners and developers by reviewing, negotiating, and drafting multimillion-dollar construction contracts.

Mr. Lehrer is licensed to practice law in all New York state courts and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He has earned a peer-reviewed “Excellent” rating on Avvo, a testament to his standing within the legal community. Furthermore, he actively participates in various professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association, and the American Bar Association.
