Matthew H. Springmeyer established his own law firm, named after him, with the goal of aiding San Diego, California, residents dealing with criminal and immigration issues. He has been authorized to practice law in California since 2013 and holds admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Recognized for his exceptional dedication to clients, Mr. Springmeyer primarily serves clients in criminal defense cases, including individuals facing charges like assault, murder, theft, domestic violence, DUI, DWI, traffic violations, drug-related offenses, and other federal crimes. He offers support to individuals across various regions of the United States, helping them navigate through immigration challenges, secure visas and green cards, and providing guidance to immigrants confronted with criminal allegations and deportation procedures.

Following his undergraduate studies at The University of Utah in 2010, Mr. Springmeyer pursued a law degree at the California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. During his time there, he achieved dean’s list recognition and took on the role of comments editor at the California Western International Law Journal. His Juris Doctor degree was earned with great distinction in 2013.

Before initiating his private practice, Mr. Springmeyer gained experience as a legal intern at both the Legal Aid Society of San Diego and the San Diego Public Defender’s Office. He collaborated with the Hon. Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks, served as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and later assumed the role of a narcotics law clerk at the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

As a respected and knowledgeable figure within his community, Mr. Springmeyer generously donates his time to offer assistance to individuals who lack the financial means for legal representation. During his time as a student attorney, he was honored with the Pro Bono and Public Service awards for his outstanding commitment to the highest number of pro bono service hours.
