Michael A. Hackard, the founder of Hackard Law, specializes in estate and trust litigation on a contingency fee basis. A native of Sacramento, Mr. Hackard pursued his undergraduate studies at California State University, Sacramento, majoring in political science and history, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972. Subsequently, he pursued his legal education at the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1976. To further enrich his expertise, Mr. Hackard has undertaken executive-level courses at renowned institutions such as The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

A significant portion of Mr. Hackard’s legal practice revolves around trust and estate litigation.
