Michael F. With admissions to practice in several federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, Mr. Bachner brings a wealth of legal experience to his clients.

In 1978, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he was recognized with a Phi Beta Kappa certification. He then pursued his Juris Doctor in 1981 from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During his time at Hofstra, Michael served as a Professor’s assistant in Criminal Law and continues to voluntarily instruct at various law schools, specializing in Trial Techniques.

Before establishing his private practice, Mr. Bachner gained invaluable experience as a narcotics prosecutor and Deputy in the Rackets Bureau under the Hon. Robert Morgenthau at The New York County District Attorney’s Office. Subsequently, he served as in-house counsel for a nationally renowned securities company. These experiences provided him with profound insights into criminal proceedings and high-level issues, which he now leverages in his role as a formidable litigator at his firm.
