Michael S. Bender, the founder of his own law firm, specializes exclusively in personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death litigation on behalf of accident victims. Mr. Bender completed his undergraduate studies at Boston University, majoring in political science with a minor in economics, graduating Cum Laude in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He then pursued his legal education at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, earning his Juris Doctor in 1979.

Mr. Bender’s clientele consists of individuals who have suffered harm in various types of accidents, including construction site incidents, premises liability claims, medical malpractice cases, defective product incidents, and motor vehicle accidents, among others. Throughout his career, he has successfully secured millions of dollars in compensation for his clients, both through negotiated settlements and trial verdicts. Noteworthy achievements include a $4.625 million settlement for a car accident victim, a $4.575 million award for an injured construction worker, a $1.25 million settlement for the family of a medical malpractice victim, and a $1.350 million resolution for a worker who underwent knee and shoulder surgeries following a fall in his workplace lobby. Mr. Bender has also achieved numerous other substantial settlements and trial verdicts in various medical malpractice and accident cases, often amounting to hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars.

Before establishing his own practice, Mr. Bender gained extensive experience as an attorney at a highly respected plaintiff’s personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in New York City, remaining “of counsel” to the firm to this day. This background and ongoing relationship enable him to take on even the most challenging and intricate cases on behalf of his clients. Mr. Bender holds admission to practice in all New York state courts and is admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He has also authored and presented numerous appeals before the appellate courts of the state of New York.
