Bringing over 22 years of experience in business trial practice to Klein & Wilson, Michael S. LeBoff has a track record of successfully managing and winning high-stakes trials and arbitrations.

Having earned a full academic scholarship, Mr. LeBoff completed his legal education at Loyola Law School, graduating second among a class of nearly 400 students. During his time at Loyola, he earned numerous academic honors and contributed as an editor for the Loyola Law Review.

Following law school, Michael LeBoff gained valuable insight into courtroom preparedness while clerking for Manuel L. Real, the former Chief Judge of the Central District of California. Subsequently, he honed his trial expertise at esteemed law firms in Orange County. An interesting twist occurred when Mr. LeBoff found himself opposing Klein & Wilson in a complex joint venture litigation. This experience fostered mutual respect and admiration for each other’s legal acumen and professionalism, eventually leading Mr. LeBoff to join Klein & Wilson in 2016. Impressively, he achieved the distinction of becoming the first new partner in the firm’s history within just two years.

In his practice, Michael LeBoff adeptly represents businesses of all sizes in a diverse array of legal matters, including shareholder disputes, partnership conflicts, joint venture disagreements, trade secret litigation, fraud cases, breach of contract claims, business torts, real estate issues, attorney fee disputes, and legal malpractice actions.

Moreover, Mr. LeBoff has a unique perspective gained from his role as in-house litigation counsel for ACC Capital Holdings, the parent company of prominent nationwide financial services entities. During this tenure, he skillfully navigated consumer litigation, class actions, employment disputes, trade secret cases, and insurance coverage conflicts. His responsibilities encompassed overseeing nationwide litigation efforts and collaborating with external legal counsel to develop cost-effective litigation strategies. Mr. LeBoff also diligently reviewed and approved billing from external counsel, while keeping senior management informed about significant litigation developments. This role underscored the significance of efficient billing practices and favorable litigation outcomes.

Michael LeBoff’s leadership extends beyond the courtroom. He actively engaged with the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, serving as a co-chair of the Professional Liability Litigation Committee from 2019 to 2022, and presently co-chairing the Young Lawyers Leadership Program. He also contributed three years of dedicated service as co-chair of the section’s largest committee, the Commercial and Business Litigation Committee, and now shares leadership responsibilities for its Ethics Subcommittee.

Additionally, Mr. LeBoff’s commitment to the legal community is evident through his involvement with the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), where he was elected to the Board of Directors in 2019 and participated in the Audit Committee since then. His role as Chair of the OCBA’s Business Litigation Section and past leadership of the Banking and Lending Section underscore his dedication to the OCBA’s mission.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. LeBoff is a devoted husband and father of two daughters. He actively contributes to his community by coaching his daughters’ T-ball and soccer teams, as well as leading their Adventure Princess Expedition. In his leisure time, he is an enthusiastic supporter of the Las Vegas Raiders, engages in fantasy sports, and enjoys recreational poker.
