Having graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric in 1989, Mr. Vaznaugh pursued his legal education at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Alongside obtaining his Juris Doctor degree, he achieved recognition as a Public Interest Scholar and contributed as an Associate Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review. Fluent in both Spanish and English, he possesses a working knowledge of Portuguese and diligently strives to represent workers from diverse backgrounds.
Since his admission to practice law in the State of California in 1994, Mr. Vaznaugh prides himself on his unwavering accessibility to clients, offering guidance and support from the inception to the resolution of each case. In a noteworthy achievement, he secured a settlement of nearly $2 million in 2019 through a wage and hour class action lawsuit against a multinational corporation, standing up for his clients’ rights.
With two decades of membership in the California Employment Lawyers Association, including a substantial tenure in its Legislative Committee, Mr. Vaznaugh remains an active participant in the legal community. He has successfully completed both Basic Employment Trials and the Advanced Trial Skills track at the California Employment Lawyers Association trial college.
