Rishi Bhandari, a founding partner of Mandel Bhandari LLP, boasts a wealth of experience as a litigator and adept problem-solver. He is widely regarded as an esteemed trial attorney, often taking on cases mere weeks or months before they head to trial. His professional accolades include being recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine from 2011 to 2014 and subsequently as a Super Lawyer from 2015 onwards. Additionally, he holds certification as a Trial Advocacy Teacher by NITA and has earned a spot among the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 members.

Throughout his career, Rishi has served as lead counsel or co-lead counsel in more than 25 lawsuits and arbitrations, yielding judgments or settlements under exceptionally favorable terms either just before or shortly after opening statements.

Rishi’s track record is punctuated by exceptional achievements for his clients, such as securing a jury verdict that exceeded the defendants’ final settlement offer by more than nine times and another verdict that surpassed the defendant’s final settlement offer by $7 million. He has overseen judgments and settlements involving claims valued well over $100 million.

Beyond his legal career, Rishi has dedicated significant time to public interest initiatives. He once served as a Teach for America Corps member and educator in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Additionally, he contributed his expertise to the Democratic National Committee’s voter protection unit. Rishi also co-authored materials and conducted training sessions for over 1,200 attorneys who volunteered for Michigan’s voter protection program.
