Robert A. Becher, a former assistant district attorney, is now a practicing attorney at Robert Becher Law, specializing in various areas of law including personal injury, construction accidents, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, medical and dental malpractice, railroad accidents, premises liability, and dog bite cases. Mr. Becher’s educational journey began in 1971 when he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University. He subsequently pursued higher education at the University of Toronto, where he earned a Master of Arts degree. His aspiration to become an attorney led him to Brooklyn Law School, where he completed his Juris Doctor degree in 1976, graduating with honors (Cum Laude). Following this, he spent a year as a research assistant in the Third Department Appellate Division before embarking on his career with the district attorney.

Since his admission to practice in the state of New York in 1976, Mr. Becher has dedicated his life and career to assisting individuals who have suffered injuries due to the actions or negligence of others. His extensive professional background includes successfully prosecuting a cold case murder in upstate New York as a special district attorney.

Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Becher has secured substantial compensation for his clients, including notable achievements such as a $1.3 million settlement for an employee injured in a motor vehicle accident, a $700,000 settlement for an injured construction worker, and a $600,000 settlement for a woman injured at a bar when she was struck by a thrown mug.
