With over 35 years of experience, Robert T. Naumes, Sr. brings his wealth of expertise to the Naumes Law Group, where he serves clients nationwide in cases related to the Federal Employer’s Liability Act. From his Boston, Massachusetts office, he also handles personal injury cases encompassing a range of issues such as class action litigation, asbestos, mesothelioma, products liability, wrongful death, and whistleblower claims.

Mr. Naumes is widely acknowledged as a leading figure in his field and has garnered endorsements from all major railroad unions. In a notable case, he was part of a team that successfully held the tobacco industry accountable for Medicaid payments linked to tobacco-related diseases, resulting in an impressive $8 billion settlement. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the law enable him to devise exceptional legal strategies, consistently achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

After completing his Bachelor of Arts degree at Boston College in 1975, Mr. Naumes graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 1978.

Today, Mr. Naumes is licensed to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st and 2nd Circuits, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is an active member of esteemed legal associations including the American Association for Justice, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Furthermore, he has previously served as the president of the Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys.
