Ryan M. Schneer is the founder, managing member, and CEO of Schneer IP Law PLLC, a New York-based law firm with a strong emphasis on patent law and intellectual property (IP) rights. In this role, he represents clients throughout the New York metropolitan area, handling legal matters related to trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights.

Before establishing his law practice, Mr. Schneer gained valuable experience as a patent examiner, working with patent law. He also worked at a law firm where he managed international IP portfolios for multinational corporations. This background has provided him with a deep understanding of the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the intricacies of IP law. This expertise enables him to effectively navigate the complexities of IP rights and patents across various industries, including pharmaceuticals, acoustic instruments, software programs, polymers, devices, biomaterials, and more.

Mr. Schneer graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the American University Washington College of Law in 2014. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with honors from the University of Delaware in 2011. He is licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York.
