Ryan Stearns serves as the managing partner at Stearns Kim Stearns & Ryan, where he represents clients across California and maintains offices in both the South Bay and Santa Monica regions. With more than 28 years of experience, Mr. Stearns specializes in Family Law, Real Estate/Civil Litigation, Employment, and Probate/Trusts. He holds the prestigious title of a Certified Family Law Specialist, awarded by the State Bar of California. Mr. Stearns has successfully handled over 300 cases in Civil/Business/Real Estate, Family Law, and Probate/Trust matters, in addition to managing more than 700 Request for Order and law and motion proceedings. His reputation is such that he is frequently referred by retired judges.

His clientele primarily includes real estate developers and small to mid-sized businesses. He was formerly a lecturer for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is recognized as an advocate by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Stearns earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1987, and subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1992. He is currently licensed to practice law in all federal and state courts in California. While Mr. Stearns prefers seeking early resolutions, he is fully prepared to pursue litigation when necessary to assist his clients.

Mr. Stearns is an active member of several professional associations, including the American Bar Association’s litigation section, the South Bay Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. His commitment to the community extends to his past service on the Southwestern University School of Law’s board of visitors and the board of trustees for the Palos Verdes Art Center.
