Preceding her college years, Ms. Thompson served as a chaplain assistant in the United States Air Force, a role she has upheld in the Air Force Reserve. Following her collegiate journey, she contributed as a paralegal in a local family law firm, an experience that fueled her determination to pursue further legal education. This pursuit led her to enroll at Lincoln Law School in Sacramento, culminating in the conferral of her Juris Doctor degree in 2014. Post-graduation, she worked as a paralegal for the state of California prior to launching her own firm in January 2016. Among her professional affiliations, she holds membership in the Nevada County Bar Association.
