Shadie Berenji, the founder of Berenji Law Firm, APC, offers legal representation to clients across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Ana, Irvine, and Newport Beach. Her primary focus lies in labor and employment law, where she handles various cases involving contract negotiations, discrimination, employee rights, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.

Before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Ms. Berenji pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of California Los Angeles, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science in 2000.

Ms. Berenji embarked on her legal career by representing some of the country’s largest employers at a renowned employment law firm, gaining valuable insights into how employers approach employment disputes. In her private practice, she leverages this experience to vigorously advocate for employees whose rights have been violated. She has a strong track record of successfully securing favorable resolutions for her clients.

To ensure the best possible service for her clients, Ms. Berenji is licensed to practice law in California and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

Beyond her courtroom work, Ms. Berenji actively participates in the legal community. She is a member of several organizations, including the Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc., the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Iranian American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
