Shawn S. Kerendian specializes exclusively in matters related to probate, trust, and estate litigation and administration within the Southern California region. He is the founder and principal of Keystone Law Group, P.C., which comprises a team of ten skilled probate litigators. They represent clients in a wide range of estate, trust, conservatorship, and guardianship cases, spanning from modest valuations to multimillion-dollar estates. With extensive experience, Shawn has successfully resolved numerous probate and estate disputes, tackling issues such as heirship claims, property division concerns, 850 petitions, cases of financial elder abuse, will contests, trust disputes, and various other legal matters.

Whether Shawn is advocating on behalf of beneficiaries, trustees, creditors, heirs, or other involved parties, he offers personalized attention and comprehensive legal support to each client. He oversees cases throughout California, operating from offices in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Shawn’s expertise has led him to serve on several esteemed panels and engage in legal education. He is appointed by the Los Angeles Super Court as an attorney for the Court Appointed Counsel (CAC) panel and the Volunteer Probate Mediator panel. He imparts his legal knowledge by instructing trust and probate-related classes for the National Business Institute. Shawn is an active member of The State Bar of California’s Trust & Estates Section, the Trusts and Estates Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Santa Monica Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He has also been selected to the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Probate Volunteer Panel, where he represents the interests of minors, conservatees, and those unable to secure their own legal representation.

Shawn’s academic background includes graduating cum laude with an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and obtaining his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2007.
