With an extensive legal career spanning nearly four decades, Sheldon W. Boyce, Jr., an attorney, brings a wealth of experience to the fields of personal injury, municipal law, and Second Amendment law. He has been a partner at Brenna Boyce PLLC in Rochester since 2007, where he has successfully represented numerous clients in upstate New York at both the state and federal levels.
A lifelong resident of New York state, Mr. Boyce graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Utica College in 1976 when it was a part of Syracuse University. He continued his education at Albany Law School, earning his Juris Doctor degree with cum laude honors in 1979. During his time at law school, Mr. Boyce was a distinguished member of the Justinian Honor Society and also contributed to the Albany Law Review.
Mr. Boyce holds licenses to practice law in the state of New York and is admitted before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York. Prior to joining the Brenna Boyce PLLC team, he served as an assistant district attorney for Monroe County and worked as a confidential law assistant to justices on the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, in Albany.

Even outside of his professional practice, Mr. Boyce continues to excel in the legal field, serving as the town attorney for Mendon, New York, his place of residence, as well as the Village Justice for the village of Honeoye Falls. He has also held executive office positions with the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and was a past director of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.
