For several decades, Steven L. Levitt, the founder of Levitt LLP, a law firm based in Mineola, New York, has been dedicated to advocating for clients in various aspects of business litigation, transactions, and real estate matters. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, Mr. Levitt also completed his undergraduate studies at Hofstra University, earning a bachelor’s degree in economics. While his primary practice area encompasses Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Kings counties, Mr. Levitt has handled legal disputes and transactions across the United States. He holds admissions to practice law in New York state courts, the U.S. district courts for the eastern and southern districts of New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Over his extensive career spanning more than three decades, Mr. Levitt has represented clients in numerous high-profile cases, often involving substantial financial stakes. Additionally, he has assisted various professionals in establishing, fortifying, or dissolving partnerships and other organizational structures.

Actively engaged in both professional and community spheres, Mr. Levitt holds membership in esteemed organizations such as the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. He has also contributed his legal expertise by serving on the legal committee for the Village of East Hills and providing volunteer legal services to the Montauk Chamber of Commerce.
