In 1975, Mr. Miller earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Queens College, The City University of New York, and subsequently graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.

Mr. Miller played a pivotal role in establishing a memorial fund for the families of New York City Fire Department firefighters from Engine 54, Ladder 4, who tragically lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
