Troy Rosasco is a Founding Partner at the esteemed law firm of Hansen & Rosasco, LLP, which operates in both Manhattan and Long Island. With over two decades of personal dedication to representing 9/11 victims and their families, Troy has successfully advocated for more than 3000 clients, resulting in recoveries exceeding $300 million.

Troy is deeply committed to the 9/11 community, demonstrating unwavering compassion as he fields daily calls from clients grappling with severe medical conditions and financial hardships due to their exposure to toxins associated with 9/11. His proficiency extends to handling some of the most challenging 9/11 cancer cases, consistently securing multi-million-dollar settlements. Troy also welcomes inquiries from fellow attorneys seeking to refer their clients to his firm for 9/11 claims.

Currently, Troy represents a diverse spectrum of individuals affected by 9/11, including victims, survivors, downtown Manhattan residents, workers, students, and first responders who have suffered from cancer or respiratory and digestive ailments due to toxic exposure in Lower Manhattan and the Pentagon.

Troy’s career trajectory reflects his early commitment to advocating for injured workers. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial & Labor Relations in 1985, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989. During his time at St. John’s, he held the position of President of the Labor Relations and Employment Law Society. Additionally, he served as an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University School of Law, where he taught a course titled “Protective Legislation for Workers” to upper-level students for four years.

Licensed to practice law in New York, Troy is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.

Troy is a distinguished legal professional and an active member of numerous bar associations and professional organizations. He holds the prestigious title of Fellow in the national College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers and is affiliated with the national Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group. His commitment to serving the legal community extends to his roles on the Board of Directors of the Injured Workers’ Bar Association of New York, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. Since 2006, Mr. Rosasco has been an integral part of the Nassau County Bar Association Attorney Grievance Committee. Beyond his legal pursuits, he has dedicated his time to the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society, Long Island Chapter, by serving on its Board of Directors.
