Victoria Wickman, the founder of the boutique law firm known as the Law Office of Victoria Wickman located in New York City, has established her firm with an exclusive focus on cases related to medical malpractice. Ms. Wickman attained her undergraduate degree with honors from St. John’s University in 1998 and later earned her Juris Doctor from the St. John’s University School of Law in 2001. Following her graduation, she commenced her career as an associate at a prominent law firm situated on Park Avenue, where she focused on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. After three years in this capacity, Ms. Wickman transitioned to a prestigious personal injury law firm. During her tenure there, she successfully secured numerous multimillion-dollar settlements in cases involving medical malpractice, including those related to failures in cancer diagnosis, improper surgical procedures, and incorrect infant deliveries. Her consistent achievements eventually led her to establish her own law firm in 2009. In addition to specializing in medical malpractice, her practice also encompasses traumatic brain injury cases and personal injury matters. Ms. Wickman holds the esteemed position of Co-Vice Chair of the Medical Malpractice Committee within the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association. She has received the Pen Award from Governor Andrew Cuomo, in recognition of her efforts in rectifying the statute of limitations for cancer patients who faced delays in diagnosis. Furthermore, Ms. Wickman is an active member of various professional organizations, including the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association, the Kings County American Inns of Court, the North American Brain Injury Society, and the New York State Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey and is proficient in the Italian language.
