Her practice involves handling a wide range of employment-related cases, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims against both private and public employers in both state and federal courts. Additionally, she provides legal representation to whistleblowers under the California Labor Code, federal False Claims Act, and similar state statutes. Her role encompasses various aspects of case management, such as drafting legal pleadings and motion documents (including oppositions to summary judgment motions and motions to compel discovery), presenting arguments in state and federal courts, managing written discovery processes, conducting and defending lay and expert depositions, participating in mediation negotiations, and preparing for trial or arbitration. Rachel also authored a successful writ of mandate filed with the California Second District Court of Appeal. She takes immense pride in advocating for clients who have suffered unjust treatment by their employers and has a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for her clients since joining Clark Employment Law.

Rachel graduated with a Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Southwestern Law School in 2015. During her time in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Goodwin Liu at the California Supreme Court, a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean Pregerson at the Central District Court of California, and a legal extern at the ACLU of Southern California. Rachel was a member of the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program and played a key role in representing Southwestern in the Bryant-Moore Civil Rights Moot Court Competition, where her team received the “Best Brief Award” and the “Best Overall Team Award.” Prior to entering law school, Rachel gained seven years of valuable experience as a litigation law clerk at a civil litigation law firm, which inspired her to pursue a juris doctor degree.

In addition to her legal expertise, Rachel is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese. She actively volunteers at pro bono legal clinics with Neighborhood Legal Services and the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, demonstrating her commitment to serving the community.
