Once a professional tennis player, Zev Y. Weinstein, Esq., realized that his abilities were better suited for a different arena—the legal field. His background as a tennis player has equipped him to tackle the competitive and occasionally demanding challenges that can emerge within legal proceedings.
Mr. Weinstein’s academic and vocational history is a testament to his affinity for diligent work and meticulousness. He attended Loyola Law School, where he actively participated in Scott Moot Court competitions and graduated among the top 15 percent of his class in 2007. Prior to establishing his private practice, Mr. Weinstein gained valuable expertise at a prominent boutique firm in West Los Angeles, playing a pivotal role in securing numerous substantial settlements.
Drawing from this hands-on experience, he founded his own legal practice, the Law Offices of Zev Weinstein, in 2009. Subsequently, in 2014, this practice merged into Schwimer Weinstein LLP, where Mr. Weinstein now serves as a partner. A staunch advocate for the rights of Californian residents, he continues to employ his accumulated experience and wisdom to assist his clients in achieving success, both within and beyond the courtroom.
Schwimer Weinstein LLP specializes in real estate law, landlord-tenant conflicts, business litigation, and cases involving severe personal injury. Within the firm, Mr. Weinstein leads the personal injury and landlord-tenant division. Additionally, he holds a real estate license, a resource that frequently proves invaluable in his analysis and oversight of real estate-related cases. He is also a former Trustee of the Santa Monica Bar Association and an active participant in the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. In 2013, Mr. Weinstein obtained a $2,000,000 judgment on behalf of two children harmed at a day care facility, as well as a settlement exceeding $1,000,000 for a client injured by a maintenance company while on the job.
